On April 2nd 2016, Ashley married her perfect match. With the help of an awesome creative team, the bride was able to bring her vision of an elegant, warm, and inviting setting to life. Although it has been over a year since Ashley and Chris gave us the pleasure of hosting their special day, we are still swooning over the décor, the entertainment, the sweet treats and most of all, the gorgeous couple themselves.
The “Receiving Piano”
We like to call our grand piano the jack of all trades. Aside from the beauty it adds to our foyer, over the years, we have seen it used as a photo focal point, a welcome table, a seating card holder, a receiving line, and of course, an instrument. For Ashley and Chris’ wedding, it acted as a guestbook table. All dolled up, guests were attracted to the unique element it added to the cocktail hour and could not wait to give their best to the happy couple.
If we were to describe the décor in two words, we would say simply elegant. The pretty blooms included delicate roses and lush greenery to create a warm and inviting setting. Adding to this, were the candles and pops of gold featured on the charger plates and the custom dance floor.
The transparent sweetheart table looked gorgeous covered in pretty floral arrangements. The simplicity of the backdrop assisted in making the flowers shine, as it did not overpower the rest of the décor. The cake, by Sweet Regards, was all white and utilized delicate sugar flowers to accompany the fresh blooms in the ballroom. Every detail tied together beautifully to create the perfect setting.
Aerialists hung from the ceilings to add to the elegance of the night. Guests loved the performance and it made for some great photos.
Beaver tails! Must we say more?! And of course our delicious, yummy, signature sweet table.
To our gorgeous couple, Ashley and Chris, we wish you guys nothing but the best on life’s journey. Health, happiness and most importantly, love. It was a pleasure working with such a kind and loving couple. Thank you for choosing us!
