On August 21st 2016, Gabriella married the man of her dreams. With the help of an awesome creative team, the bride was able to bring her vision of a chic and pretty atmosphere to life using a pink, white and purple colour theme. It has been over a year since Gabriella and Eric gave us the pleasure of hosting their special day, and we are still swooning over the pretty details. From the ceremony, to the extravagant reception, no detail was overlooked.
The day began with a lovely Jewsish ceremony situated inside one of our ballrooms. The aisles were aligned with pink and white flower arrangements that sat on top of tall white pedestals. At the end of the aisle, there stood a breathtakingly beautiful huppah. Draped in soft, white linen and covered in orchids, it set the tone for the chic reception to follow. For those who don’t know, the huppah symbolizes the new home that the couple will create. And what a beautiful home it was! The wall behind the huppah was also draped and featured two lush pink floral walls on each side, which helped tie all of the décor together.
The Seating Card Display
After the ceremony, guests moved into our foyer for cocktail hour. Scrumptious hors d’oeuvres were passed and guests had some time to mingle. The focal point of the hour was the seating card display in the middle of the room. A sleek and sophisticated round table was used so guests could easily walk around and look for their place. Coming out of the center was a vibrant, 12 ft tall purple Wisteria Tree. This beauty cascaded over the seating cards and made the display fun and unique.
Gabriella and Eric’s reception left us speechless as our ballroom was transformed into a chic paradise. The flowers consisted of a mixture of pink and purple blooms, dripping with delicate white orchids. To add dimension to the room, unique serpentine tables covered in countless candles and cascading florals were used. The textured gold charger plates that were placed at these S-shaped tables, were topped with a silk purple napkin, that complimented the flower arrangements perfectly.
The show-stopping head table sat directly under the canopy that was used for the ceremony and featured a lush floral runner with countless orchids and hanging crystals. The cake was directly beside the canopy and consisted of similar blooms and pretty detailing.
Gabriella and Eric’s “Oh So Chic” wedding was nothing short of a dream. From the colour palette to the unique elements that were added, every detail was carefully reviewed to create a fun and chic atmosphere. It was an honour hosting this beautiful couple, while working with an amazing creative team.
