Keeping up with the Kosalkas

James and Alicia’s wedding was almost as magical as the special couple themselves. From the ceremony to the many personal touches, no detail was overlooked to create an intimate setting full of love and beauty.

The ceremony

While many of the ceremonies we host take place in our foyer, James and Alicia decided to have theirs in our ballroom. The entire room was beautifully draped and the altar consisted of a show stopping blush canopy. The long aisle approaching it was aligned with pretty blooms that complimented the room nicely. While everything looked amazing, the personalized programs, as well as the fun officiant made their ceremony unique and engaging.

The decor

The reception decor created a romantic, yet edgy feel that we fell hard for. The head table consisted of pretty blooms and cascading candles that aligned mirror tables. Touches of delicate blush and white florals also graced the entire room and complimented the rest of the decor beautifully.

When we saw the cake, our jaws dropped. It was the icing on top of a breathtaking head table, and tied everything together.

Personal touches

What stood out most from James and Alicia’s unforgettable wedding, were the personal touches. To honour the groom’s parents, guests were led outside the building where paper lanterns were released into the heavens. This sentimental tribute was definitely the highlight of the night, and was a sweet reminder that it’s never really goodbye, but rather see you soon.

James and Alicia’s outdoor activities came to an end with a super fun sparkler exit that set the stage for some awesome photos.

Aside from the breathtaking decor, James and Alicia’s big day was filled with love and meaning. The personal touches allowed their guests to see who they were as a couple and created an intimate feel. To this special bride and groom, James and Alicia, on behalf of all of us at Hazelton Manor, we wish you nothing but the very best in life. Thank you for choosing us to host one of the biggest days of your lives. It was an absolute pleasure!
