It was Christmas 2016, when Daniel and Christina went on a family vacation to St. Marteen. Although Christina knew it was going to be a great trip, she had no idea about the sweet surprise Daniel had in store for her. Before the trip, Daniel had the ring all picked out and Christina’s family on board. Now it was just a matter of where and when he was going to pop the question.
On a warm, sunny day, Daniel took Christina to Plum beach, a local beach on the island that is known for its picturesque sunsets. Just as the sun was about to set, on the beautiful shoreline, Daniel got down on one knee and revealed the gorgeous rock he had picked out for her. In the most perfect setting, he asked Christina to spend forever with him and after 8 years of dating, these two high school sweet hearts were officially engaged.
The colour palette of the night included, champagne, gold and ivory hues to create an elegant setting, which complimented Christina’s dress perfectly. The tablecloths were all embroidered and each table featured a gold centrepiece. The floral arrangements that sat on top, had the perfect ratio of lush greenery and delicate white and pale pink flowers. Hanging from each centrepiece were glass balls containing a tea light, which added an extra flair of romance to the event. Guests also had the option of sitting on plush white armchairs surrounded by a backdrop of the Palace of Versailles. The regal themed lounge looked great in the room and created a classy feel.
Although the lounge was pretty, it didn’t get much use solely due to the fact that everyone wanted to party! The dance floor was constantly occupied and guests danced the night away in celebration of the lovely couple’s engagement. In proper Greek fashion, chairs were danced upon, shots were taken and Zembekika were performed.
Daniel and Christina will be getting married with us on, June 16 2018. We are excited to host this sweet couple’s big day and we are definitely looking forward to seeing the beautiful décor and experiencing some more Greek style partying. Opa!!
