An Elegant Affair

Katia and Charlie’s wedding left us speechless. And if it taught us anything, it is that you can never have too many candles! The elegant affair was recently featured in Dauphine magazine, and we have been waiting over a year to be able to share the magic with you!
The basis of their wedding was formed around Katia’s all-white vision. She wanted everything from décor, to attire, to stationary to work together to form a cohesive event. The all-white vision came from Katia’s love of things that are clean, simple, and unique in texture. By focusing on light and texture instead of colour, the fabulous creative team Katia assembled created a modern wedding with a variety of different décor aspects, such as different heights in centerpieces and different textures of linens. The whole ballroom was graced with white orchids and other beautiful floral artistry, but it was the abundance of candles that really made the room feel romantic and unique. Our favourite element was the beautiful chandeliers that sparkled overtop the family tables, and complimented our light fixtures perfectly. Their magical head table was clean and unique and featured the same pretty florals and elegant candles found throughout the rest of the room.
Katia and Charlie also incorporated a few personal touches for their guests to enjoy. The first were the table numbers. They decided to name each table a different country that they have traveled to, were planning on going to on their honeymoon, or plan to go to in the future. The second personal touch was apart of their 3D head table backdrop. Engraved into the all white backdrop was a song lyric from their first dance, “ Sei Un Pensiero Speciale.”
The day was truly an enchanting, heartfelt experience. One of the most romantic settings we have ever seen graced our venue and the special couple’s 500 guests felt the love. The day was truly an enchanting, heartfelt experience. Katia and Charlie, on behalf of all of us at Hazelton Manor, we hope your life together is as magical as your wedding day!
