A Vibrant Affair

We had the pleasure of hosting Jennifer and Elie’s wedding in our Central ballroom this past summer. The day was nothing short of a dream. By using a colourful palette, the creative team did a fantastic job in delivering client satisfaction, while highlighting our ballroom in the loveliest way. We often see gold and champagne hues in our venue, and while these tones do compliment our space perfectly, we were very excited to see something different. With the help of an awesome creative team, our space was transformed into a vibrant, colourful paradise. Pops of colour can get a little tricky, but when done right, the result is breathtaking.

The Décor

The highlight of the décor was the gorgeously constructed head table. Mirror tables were aligned with dozens of taper candles to create a romantic ambience. Lush green garland with pops of colourful roses also outlined these beautiful tables. The perfectly draped backdrop, was unique and showcased three elegant crystal chandeliers. The 3-D detailing added a nice element of dimension to the room and complimented the head table décor beautifully.

The guest tables showcased similar coloured blooms that sat above tall crystal centerpieces. The arrangements utilized the perfect ratio of lush greenery and colourful roses to beautify each table. The pops of colour were vibrant, and created a bright and happy vibe for the reception.  For this reason, we hope to see future clients incorporate more colour into their décor!

The Dress

Jennifer wore a timeless, custom Ines Di Santo ball gown. The bodice featured delicate lace detailing and the skirt fell oh so beautifully on her. It was definitely a dress fit for a princess.

Jenifer and Elie’s reception was definitely one for the books. From the gorgeous dress, to the unique colourful palette, no detail was overlooked. It was an honour working with such an amazing creative team, and an even greater honour hosting the most perfect couple.
